The tired and the tired

The week was so difficult and exhausting. So yesterday Ale and me decided to party, after months of party abstinency…

We didn’t sleep, we finished a bottle of licorice grappa, remenbered all the good old days, called Simone when we were drunk enough, around eight in the morning and then went to the airport to send Ale back to freedom. So I just woke up!!! and I am still exhausted. It’s 20:14, I missed the Lenny Kravitz concert (but then again, I ain’t no Kravitz fan anyway) and I feel bloated… I guess I was just made for working and not for partying… it makes me feel guilty for losing precious time and gaining an awful amount of fat!

O.K.! ivancivic.com is officially online! Yuhuuuuu

mandarynaThank you Ale:) We are a rollin’!

And just to celebrate the occasion, I shall post a better pic than the last one and shall dance with Ale to Mandaryna’s hit performance, in my kitchen. She inspires everybody with her top voice. Click the video below and dance with me.

So, I am celebrating on the top of the hot and fast Daewoo in a pin-up Mandaryna style.

Kissy kissy to everybody:)

ivancivic.com is finally active

peelingHello peeps! My “dot com” is finally active and I am ready for the task…Just got to add three minimal sections… It’ll be ready by tonight. If I only didn’t have all these facial burns after a very painful fruit-acid peeling. I now look like scarface… much different from the fabulous Ivan from the last post… and much more like Divine in female trouble. Here is an image of me now, just for the sake of telling and showing it all… after all, archiving is important, and if Orlan can fuck herself up good, why can’t we all do it?! For the sake of art-aesthetic-science, right?!

Only work makes us so fabulous!

ale and Ivy working their butts off for the websiteDear blogers… we are working day and night for the website to get ready as soon as possible:) And even though we are getting no sleep and a lot of stress, we are still fabulously happy and shining:) ivancivic.com is almost ready. Ivan and Ale

Fail to lose

Fail to loseThis will be another virtual game for the artist. The game starts with a message to the public saying that during the play they are allowed to measure the speed of the actions of the performance and or video but they are also warned that the system is fully operational and indipendent and does all of this on its own.

Of course the entire thing is a big fake and nothing of the kind happens and the entire game is just bullshitting the concept of speed and recognition of time as well as the strange need some performers have to define what exactly are the boundries between performing in the arts and acting. This game is fast and at times slow. It deals with a lot of cliches performers have to deal with on a daily basis in their professional lives. For example always having to have the element of improvisation in each work… Does FAIL TO LOSE have this element? We don’t know because the game reveals, as it goes on, every detail as if it were premeditated in advance. Read More…
