The arrogance that only a gallery can fake

Dear friends, here I am again. This time I have another angry post for the world…

I have been working on a project to help a curator friend of mine bring a couple of artists to Berlin from a different country. The entire event will take place in June and will last just a week. The Goethe Institut is involved, as well as some important sponsors. The sponsors will pay for accommodation, catalogue print, travel expenses and so on… plus they offer the gallery that is willing to participate in the project to send their artists to the other country next year in order to continue with the exchange…

Now… we all know how crowded Berlin is with galleries and we know that the most of them are on the verge of heavy duty bankruptcy and this not only because they can’t sell a thing… and still they have the nerve to fake their way into wannabe important whoever people. Most of them have the nerve to tell you to pass by in a week and you do so just to hear them say that they are already booked! Hello motherfuckers, you could have told me that a week ago and saved me the time and energy! Some people really need re-educating. Who do they think they are. I have always hated the Berlin gallery system and especially most of the things they exhibit and so I went to other countries in search of galleries that I wanted to represent me and I had a great time and met some really joyfull and beautiful people on the way, but about that another time.

Of course, in the end I found a gallery in Berlin that is happy to collaborate and do the exchange with the other country and artists in question. Ain’t no bitches gonna stop me from doing my job! Bare that in mind all you parasites out there! Needless to say that the gallery that was happy to accept the exchange is run by a person who is not from Berlin. Thank God.

We, the artists, are sick of you wannabes out there, so shut up, get up and leave please.

I will post time, date and place of the venue as soon as it is fixed. And all the ones who turned me down, you are invited too to see what you missed.
