Do not forget!
July 31, 2008
Dear friends,
In my past post I wrote that the media aren’t giving Karadic and his capture much attention… Well, they should, because what has been done to innocent people should never be forgotten! You will not enjoy this video. I cried from the beginning to the end of it… that is and was Sarajevo…

Ivan
It’s been a Courtney long time
July 30, 2008
Dear friends,
Here is the ultimate Courtney Love! I adore her attitude, her being so fucked up, wasted, consumed, strong, thin, blond, tall, with a big mouth, hungry, rockyness, voice, music, style… this is pretty much the only rock music I can listen to right now. Can’t wait for her new album to come out! It’s been a while and we are all waiting oh so long.
Love you Courtney,
Ivan
Cicciolina’s interview
July 27, 2008
Dear friends,
Cicciolina’s autobiography came out May 2007 and shortly after that she made this radio interview in Italy. It’s a three part interview… click in the post to see the other two parts. Enjoy.
She is really sweet. This interview is in Italian. Her English is not good. I’ve seen her try to speak in English and it didn’t really work great.
Love,
Dear friends,
I am so happy to see that my readers have tripled in the past few days. I am happy to see that there is a response of interest to my blog. Today I would like to add a new post and this time it’s about another crazy autobiography I’ve read lately: “Freak Unique”. Written about and by Pete Burns, Dead or alive’s lead singer since the beginning of the eighties.
I first discovered him when he brought out the re-registered version of of “you spin me round – like a record”, back in 2003. The new video clip that followed really intrigued to such an extent that I immediately started researching as much as I could about him. Then came his weird participation in Great Britain’s “Celebrity big brother” and he just won me over with his charm, attitude, whits and intelligence.
When I first saw him on celebrity big brother, I didn’t know that he had just spent over two years in Italy trying to save his Read the rest of this entry »
Cicciolina… a real star.
July 25, 2008
Dear friends,
Yesterday I finished reading another biography, only this time it was an autobiography by non the less then Italians, if not the worlds, most famous ex porn star: Ilona Staller, in art: Cicciolina.
It is an interesting book, very easy to read, again, unpretentious but pretty honest in the way she deals with most topics. I suppose whoever reads a biography of this kind expects a lot of juicy sex scenes described into minimum details and maybe even with other famous men… but none of the kind can be found in Cicciolina’s book. Don’t get me wrong, she doesn’t ever deny her glorious past as a porn diva and she also does describe a couple of adventures she went through in her carrier as an actress, as well as a famous woman with an adventurous private sex.
She starts with her birth and goes on pretty much chronologically all the way through to her marriage with Jeff Koons, being pregnant, losing the baby and getting pregnant again… Now, the part about Read the rest of this entry »
Estelle Getty
July 24, 2008

Dear friends,
I am so sad and sorry to find out today that on July 22nd, 2008, Estelle Getty passed away. Sophia Petrillo was her famous role played in the Golden Girls U.S. hit sitcom from the magical eighties. I love her so much and these are painful news for me. I grew up watching the Golden Girls and Estelle was always an energy and mood uplifter. You should all see all seven seasons of the Golden Girls. They are intelligent, funny and extremely inspiring. Estelle passed away at the age of eighty four… still too young and our World has a smiling face less to look up to. After my grandmother died, she, with her attitude and role, pretty much filled a void I thought could never be filled again. Just watching the Golden Girls soothes life’s every day struggles.
Dear Estelle, thank you.
Love,
Ivan
Life with his sister Madonna
July 24, 2008
Dear friends,
I have just finished reading “Life with my sister Madonna” by Madonna’s brother Christopher Ciccone… I know, here we go, jumping from posts about upcoming stars, to war criminals, to divas. But it’s all a part of my world and I am sure that I am not the only one with mixed interests all coexisting in one head… Anyway, enough of me justifying something that doesn’t need justification. This is not my intention. What I want, is to comment the book a brother wrote about his sister and the interesting dynamics that lead a family to behave the way they do.
After an entire day spent reading the book from cover to cover I have come to several conclusions. First of all, there are many ways of analyzing this product, and even if it is extremely simple in its nature, being a book for easy reading and quite unpretentious, it is still multi faceted from a psychological point of view.
Lets start with the commercials and hype surrounding it. Christopher has given a couple of Read the rest of this entry »
Catch a war criminal, if you may
July 22, 2008
Dear friends,
Serbia’s president Tadic announced late last evening that The war criminal Karadzic has just been caught. Well well well… Bosnia and Serbia are really not that big and it took whoever it had to take too long to catch him. Over fifteen years is way too much for me not to think he was kept on the loose on purpose and who knows, maybe the world outside of ex-Yugoslavia just had no interest in the matter and therefor didn’t give a damn.
Serbia, on the other hand, is really desperate to get into the European Union… and they are just collecting “points” in their favor by finally Read the rest of this entry »
