OK… at point twelve last night, right after the clock struck midnight… the cinderella in me ran to an online music site and ordered MINA’S new album:)
“FACILE” (English translation = “SIMPLE”) is an amazing pearl of modern light pop music! Every song is inspiring and has a depth to it. I actually cried listening to “con o senza te”. It´s in moments like these that I wish the whole world would speak or could understand the Italian language because only then can you really enjoy, admire and absorb the entireity of MINA’S genius! She really is what she sings. When she sings, her interpretations become pure reality and no filteres are posed between her, the significance of the text and us. She transforms herself into a pure medium of emotions and visceral truth of what these emotions stand for.

Dear family and friends,
I have arrived to Stuttgart, Germany, to the amazingly beautiful and supportive Akademie Schloss Solitude. I will be working on my projects here for a long time and am very pleased with how it is all turning out for the beginning. The spaces are amazing and the ateliers as well. Not to mention the nature surrounding the residence. It´s a dream come true. Dear friends…
this summer sucks…
breaking up if so painfull it feels like dieing! The pain is not fading!
August is a “good-bye” kind of month and it always brings out the nostalgy that will follow up till mid -end october, leaving space to a cold winter…
these days I am not on holidays anywhere… all my friends stood me up. Nobody gives a fuck or is too busy surviving. So now the time has come for me to do my shit regardless of the others and stop saying always yes! SO here I am saying NO to useless phone calls, silly requests, miserable date offers and boring conversations.
I will have my holidays and they will be spent in Berlin, at home, with the phone off the hook and no e-mails and work. No blood suckers around me any more. Just lazy sublime nothing. A soft summer breeze, a video camera, a photo camera, inspiration and me.

Back online after years of absence… oh well… thats life.
Michael Jackson died and that sucks! I am very sad and still cannot get over it after a month has passed!
Whitney Huston’s new album is coming out soon and I am looking forward to it. Don’t mind a thinner voice. Just want her to feel good and have fun performning again.
Art has been going well. The manchester international festival 2009 was a tough venue. I performed for 17 days. I revisited my performance “Back to Sarajevo… after 10 years” and this time it lasted 72 hours! I am now a wreck and need a month to recover.
My nerves on my hands and fingers have been hurt by the endless hours of wall climbing so my doctor said that would take about ten to eleven weeks to heal. But here are a couple of shots from Marco Anelli of my work in Manchester…
I did survive the entire duration of the performance but it was tough.
